Sri Ramkrishna Ashram, Nimpith
striving towards social, cultural and economic upliftment of the dwellers of Sundarban areas through building self reliance and confidence

“A man must work. Only then can he see God. One cannot develop love of God or obtain His vision without work. Work means meditation, japa and the like. The chanting of God’s name and glories is work too. You may also include charity, sacrifice and so on.”
– Sri Sri Ramkrishna

“As long as a man has desires there is no end to his transmigration. It is the desires alone that make him take one body after another. Re-birth is inevitable so long as one has desires.”
– Sri Sri Sarada Devi

“Put yourself to work and you will find such tremendous power coming to you that you will feel it hard to bear. Even the least work done for others awakens the power within; even thinking the least good of others gradually instils into the heart the strength of a lion. I love you all ever so much, but I wish you all to die working for others – I should rather be glad to see you do that.”
– Swami Vivekananda
